In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, a picturesque fortress and residential district that dates back to the 12th century. The Kasbah is open daily from 8am to 6pm and admission is free.

Another popular attraction is the Hassan Tower, a minaret that was intended to be part of a mosque but was never completed. The tower is open daily from 9am to 5pm and admission is 20 dirhams.

Visitors can also take a stroll through the Andalusian Gardens, a lush oasis in the heart of the city that is open daily from 8am to 6pm. Admission is free.
